Flagstaff Reception

After our awesome honeymoon we went to Flagstaff to celebrate with all our friends and family in Arizona. My Aunt Cathie drove up from Prescott and took all these amazing pictures. I told her I really wanted pictures of all the people there. My parents grew up there, I grew up there. One of the perks of growing up in a small town is such a tight knit community. It was fun to introduce Scott to m nursery leader, and my fourth grade teacher, and allll of our amazing family.  While we were on our honeymoon Kristin, Mom, and Grammy Frost made the mini bundt cakes and the food for the reception.

I think we're going to make the boys wear these outfits for the next 50years. They're so adorable!

This is my Jana Fox, as soon as I saw her I took off running out of the line. She is one of my very best friends and favorite reasons to come back to Flagstaff.

This is my ballet teacher and her family. I was four years old when I took her class. I love my small town.

If you did a trick for Mary or sang for her on Halloween she would give you a king size candy bar.

I love that Mom is bouncing a baby in this one. Flagstaff is so relaxed.

It was everything I wanted. It was so fun to catch up with everyone before we left the west for Texas! It was so comforting to me to have such a good reminder of where I came from before leaping into this scary cross-country move. There will always be a big piece of my heart in Flagstaff.

  1. I loved this post - because I remember how fun and informal my wedding reception was, because I knew so many of the wonderful people in your pictures, and because you're right - small towns are the best ;)

  2. Oh what a great post! I have never seen the picture of my friends Jessica and Linsey in the kitchen. Made me tear up. You cannot put a price on good friends who get you through nights like this.
I LOVE all the getting ready pictures.
